Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

This position provides administrative support for all Office of Experiential Education (OEE) activities. This is a 12-month, part-time position with a direct report to the Director of OEE.
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to assist the OEE with performing the tasks and maintaining the documentation necessary to support efficient operations and effective communications within the School, College, University and external community.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support for the implementation of standards, guidelines and educational outcomes pertaining to experiential education
• Manage data collection, data entry, and documentation. Compile, review, organize, and maintain all data and forms for internal and external reports as directed.
• Maintain site Affiliation Agreements and Preceptor Agreements, for existing and new experiential sites and preceptors in electronic and written format
• Procure and maintain of all necessary information regarding Preceptors in electronic and written paper format
• Support the process of assigning students to practice experiences as directed.
• Maintain written and verbal communication with students, preceptors, and other constituents as directed.
• Keep current and ensure that students and preceptors have ready access to updates, as needed, in experiential education program materials.
• Assist with maintaining the OEE website
• Support student orientation activities
• Support activities related to preceptor development/education
• Perform routine office tasks as needed and requested
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• BA/BS preferred, AD will be considered with documentation of significant related experience
• Experience: minimum 2 years office experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Experience with data base entry preferred
OTHER Skills: (required)
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
o Able to work well with others with minimal supervision.
o Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and work as an integral member of a busy team is essential.
